How We Approach Your Project
Designscape’s landscape design- build process affirms your experience is positive from the initial consultation to the final walkthrough. Communication is the key throughout the process ensuring you know what to expect. That’s why we’ve developed an 8-step process that guarantees the results that you’re hoping for. Here’s how we approach every project we undertake.
Initial Meeting
Our landscape designer meets with you in order to fully understand your vision and to blend your ideas with ours. We will then discuss warranty and qualifications. We do not charge for the initial with our designer. Your designer will provide you with design and planning fees.
Landscape Design and Project Costs
Once we fully understand your vision, we create the landscape design plans. At this time, a proposal will be provided showing the cost of the landscape design installed.
Contract Signing and Schedule
Once the contract has been signed and deposit is received, we will reserve you a place in our schedule. During the spring and summer months, it may take three to four weeks from contract signing to installation.
Two Weeks before Project
With your landscape plan completed, your landscape designer will call to confirm your place on the schedule. Weather can play havoc on our schedule, but we do our best to keep you informed of any changes in the schedule. We believe in a “first come first serve approach” to our schedule.
Project Implementation
On the appointed start date, weather permitting, we commence work on making your vision come alive.
Define any Project Change Orders
As the work continues you may become inspired to add new features or change existing ones. We’ll accommodate those changes and modify the project costs as required.
Project Wrap-up
Once the project is completed we’ll clean up, remove any project-related debris, and put the finishing touches on your dream.
Final Walkthrough
Upon completion, your Designscape project manager or designer will take you on a guided tour of your landscape. We will also provide information on how to care for your newly planted trees, plants and yard. If you have any questions after the project, call or email us and we will be happy to answer them.
